Trail Running
Hey all. Can anyone recommend some good places for trail running in the DC metro area? Inspired by Brent's post I want to go looking. Any first-hand suggestions would be appreciated.

its pretty fun, hopefully you find a spot (i went back again today). yup i took the camera with me that one time--carried it. i've done it a few times, its sort of a pain to carry but not too bad.

I'd be interested to know about this as well. There's some trails in Rock Creek and there's the C&O Canal which I don't know if you'd consider a trail. My thing in DC has been security concerns. I'm unsure about running some trails in Rock Creek by myself because the news stories (some not so good) are not always very encouraging. But maybe some other DC people have had an actual experience (hopefully good with this) and can recommend!
