Burnt Tongue

I ate my pizza a little too fast tonight. The roof of my mouth and my tongue are charred. I should have been a bit more patient. By not waiting until the pizza cooled down, I wiped out my tastebuds and then I didn't get to taste my pizza anyway. A no-win situation indeed. :)

My run wasn't too excited this morning. I ran an easy 30 minutes by myself and did my body weight circuit. As I mentioned before, this week is an easier week for me with a race on Saturday. My legs were tired from the workout yesterday so I was sure to take it easy.

When I was driving home from work today I spotted what I figured to be the Pitt men's cross country team. They looked like they were flying. Absolutely flying. I suspect they were just running easy though because they were running down a main drag in Oakland (the section of Pittsburgh where Pitt's campus lies) with many people/cars/obstacles in their way. I highly doubt they'd do a workout in such a busy area. Regardless, they were moving. Moving really fast.

I got mine with my coffee while I was sitting in traffic this morning. If anyone was watching me I'm sure my face was pretty funny. We'll pay for it for a few days, probably!
